Privacy Policy
This page explains what information Latin Dancing Online, LLC ("we", "us") collects when you visit latindancemovement.com or buy one of our online dance courses, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Latin Dance Movement is run by Latin Dancing Online, LLC, a Florida company. Our mailing address is Latin Dancing Online, LLC, 2100 Miami Road, Apt. 302, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- When you buy a course: your name, email address, billing details and what you bought. Payments are handled by our checkout provider (ThriveCart) and payment processors (such as Stripe and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to write.
- When you browse the site: basic usage data such as pages visited, device type, browser and approximate location. This is collected with cookies and similar tools, through Google Tag Manager and the analytics and advertising tags it loads: Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel.
How we use it
- To give you access to the courses you bought and send you your login or access email.
- To answer your questions and handle refunds.
- To send you emails about our courses, if you bought from us or signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which pages and videos help people, and to improve the site and our ads.
- To meet legal and tax requirements.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business: our checkout and course platform (ThriveCart), payment processors, our email tools, website hosting (Cloudflare), video hosting (YouTube and Vimeo), and analytics and advertising tools (Google and Meta). Each of them handles your data under its own privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
The site uses cookies for analytics and advertising, and to remember small things like whether you closed the course bar at the bottom of the page. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
The Meta pixel tells Facebook and Instagram that you visited the site or bought a course, so we can measure our ads and show them to people who might like our lessons. You can turn off ads based on this activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings (Settings, then Ads, then Ad preferences).
Embedded videos
Pages on this site include videos from YouTube and Vimeo. Those services may set their own cookies when you play a video.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase records for as long as you have access to your course and as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your other information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you emails. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have extra rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Children
Our courses are made for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
